Welcome
The Back Creek White Dorper stud operates on the properties “Glencoe”, and “Glenall” in the Rocky Creek Valley west of Bingara and “Mundiwa” west of Brewarrina in North West NSW.
The principles of the stud are Will and Linda Cannington, located at “Glenall” and Flora Keats, with Bill Kirkby managing “Mundiwa”.
Back Creek White Dorpers currently runs 400 stud ewes, with these being run at “Glenall” and “Glencoe”. In the next few years a stud group will be established at “Mundiwa” to breed rams in the western division.
There is an annual ram sale held on the 3rd Friday in October each year, selling 60-80 stud and commercial rams. Flock rams by paddock sale are available after this date through until autumn while available. Stud ewes are available throughout the year by private treaty.
Back Creek White Dorpers runs in conjunction with a commercial lamb operation of approximately 3000-4000 ewes at “Mundiwa” and a beef cattle herd of 650 breeders.
“Glenall” and “Glencoe” are both located on the main road between Narrabri and Bingara and are easily accessible from either end, as well as being directly accessible from Moree and Barraba. “Mundiwa” is located at the junction of the Bourke to Weilmoringle and Brewarrina to Engonnia Roads.
